The Lonely Art – Gerri Hill, KG MacGregor and Me!

Karin Kallmaker Events and Appearances, Sisters of the Pen

Gleeful about covers it! I just got word that I’ll be teaming up with KG MacGregor and Gerri Hill for a session about the lonely art of writing for the 9th Annual Golden Crown Literary Society Convention this June in Dallas.

Truthfully, I’m just going to sit back and let them talk so I can figure out how they both produce such consistently good works and at a steady pace too! It should be a great discussion with lots of techniques and practical advice with a chance to ask the authors “How did you…?” and other questions.

Surviving the Lonely Art:
Prolific Authors Discuss Process and Self-Evaluation

Gerri Hill, KG MacGregor and Karin Kallmaker have between them a catalog of nearly 70 books. Yet they use completely different processes for conception, outlining and completion of the first draft. This session will feature each author’s method for getting the work done and approach to editors and editing. Writing is a lonely art, and the authors will also discuss how they self-evaluate long before outside feedback is wanted or available. Ample time for question and answer.
