Pride Flag in the wind

Words have been hard to find, let alone the focus to express them coherently. Part of me resists the idea that a man so devoid of common decency or simple shame could set any kind of agenda for me. I am grateful to Laurie R. King for expressing beautifully how I am feeling today about moving forward. Please go read.

From Laurie’s blog:

  1. She only got one thing wrong when she said ” I, with the majority of my countrymen, have been struggling to wrap my head around this state of affairs and find some firm ground to stand on.” the majority of her countrymen are either delighted or uncaring – less than a third of the registered voters voted for Clinton. – she is right about another, it is madness to try and come to grips with it.

The new polling data out today suggests that many more people are coming to their senses about the dangerous path we’re on.

  2. “Part of me resists the idea that a man so devoid of common decency or simple shame could set any kind of agenda for me.” perfectly said.
